The
greatest tragedy of life is not that men perish, but that
they cease to love.
W. Somerset Maugham

Things base and vile, holding no quantity, ~Love can
transpose to form and dignity. ~Love looks not with
the eye, but with the mind, ~And therefore is winged
Cupid painted blind. William Shakespeare
My meditative observations:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does
not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily
angered, it keeps no record
of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with
the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is the emblem of eternity: it
confounds all notion of time: effaces all memory of a
beginning, all fear of an end. Germaine De Stael
